Which are my port of entry options?

You will fly into Robert Mugabe International Airport in Harare for all our programmes.

Do I need a PCR certificate on arrival?

Yes, you need to be in possession of a negative paper certificate of the test results on arrival or you will be refused entry into the country.

Are there any entry requirements?

All travellers must complete a health questionnaire which will be provided on your flight arriving into Harare.

ZIMBABWE EXIT REQUIREMENTS

Do I need a PCR certificate on departure from Zimbabwe?

All outbound flights require a negative PCR test to be presented at departure. Your testing day will be organised during your stay.

How do I get a PCR certificate in Zimbabwe?

Our network of doctors and testing facilities will conduct the test and provide you with the certificate and clearance you need in order to travel. The cost is currently USD$70.00 paid in cash. You will be notified of your test results as soon as they are available

Will I get my test results in time for my outbound flight?

It is likely that all testing for departing programme participants will be done on a Tuesday, with results received on the Wednesday ready for your departure on the Thursday.

What will happen when I arrive at the airport?

You will be temperature tested at the airport prior to proceeding through immigration. Complete your visa application form, hand in your health questionnaire and negative PCR test certificate to the immigration official and make your visa payment. Proceed to Arrivals and look out for the Tiritose Sustainable Travel representative.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Masks are mandatory in all public and communal spaces, both inside and outside.

Can I get a visa on arrival

Most nationalities can get and pay for their visas upon arrival into Zimbabwe. Please refer to your pre-departure orientation pack for countries that are visa exempt and those that require visas.

Is there a quarantine in place?

As long as you have a negative PCR test within the correct time period, you will not need to quarantine on entry.

When can I join the project?

In order to meet the 48 hour PCR test requirements, we are temporarily changing our arrival days from Monday to a Thursday arrival. Your return flight should be for no earlier than midday on the Thursday of your departure.

Are there any special steps at the accommodation?

All programme participants and staff will be temperature screened daily at breakfast time.
