An internship or study abroad opportunity is an investment in your career and necessary in the development of a culturally competent and well-rounded professional. As far as we are concerned, financial limitations should never prevent you from going abroad with us. That’s why we offer scholarships and travel grants to students accepted on our programmes.
We have three types of funding options as outlined below and only students who have been accepted on one of our programmes are eligible to apply:
1. Need-based aid to university students
a. Minimum GPA 2.8
b. Package covers between 25% to 100% of the programme fees
2. Diversity Travel Grants to Historically Black Colleges & Universities
a. Open to students who are currently attending an HBCU
b. Package covers air travel either in part or in full
3. Scholarships to Zimbabwean pre-health and medical students studying abroad wanting to fulfill internship requirements in Zimbabwe
a. Package covers between 25-75% of all programmes costs
If awarded one of the funding options, recipients agree to submit weekly 1-page reflections on their personal, professional and academic experience on the programme.
Recipients will at the end of the programme become Tiritose Sustainable Travel Campus Ambassadors at their home schools.
