Smart question. If you are going to give meaning to travel with a purpose it makes sense for you to choose a program that will give you the most benefit and also leave a positive impact on your destination of choice.

What are you passionate about?

This is the biggest consideration. Everything else comes after you know what you want to spend your time, money and efforts in. The good news is that whatever you choose to do will important and you won’t be doing it alone if you book with us. So areas of interest/passion to choose from are Healthcare, Business, Adventure and Conservation. Once you have established what it is you want to focus on questions you should ask yourself include:

  • Is this going to be a school project/internship that you need credit for back home or an opportunity to try and see what you want to study when you leave high school?
  • If not for school, what goal are you hoping to achieve? Is it to have fun only, to volunteer to make an impact through teaching, assisting with everyday tasks in your chosen field or to learn from local communities? Learn from those who have gone before you. What is there to look forward to when you volunteer abroad? ;

Of course if you are in high school or college student you still travel to volunteer. There some things we do for college degrees and other that we do for our life lessons and volunteering definitely enriches the soul, not to mention your social life. You meet some amazing people on these missions and sometimes make friends for life.

  • Of course traveling to Africa is not just about helping the needy. It’s also about the kind of mad and wild adventures and unlocking mysteries that the discovery channel doesn’t tell you about.
  • OR are you still at a loss as to what it is you want to do on your travels? That‘s ok too. We are always happy to help you come to a decision, no pressure!
